Aster has officially dismissed rumors suggesting alterations to its tokenomics or delayed token unlocks. The confusion arose from a CoinMarketCap update that merely corrected the circulating supply data for the ASTER token.
The decentralized exchange moved swiftly to address community concerns, emphasizing that no changes were made to the token's unlock schedule. "We want to clarify that the ASTER tokenomics remain unchanged," Aster stated on X, attributing the panic to a miscommunication.
To enhance transparency, Aster will transfer unused, unlocked tokens to a publicly visible address. This measure aims to preempt future misunderstandings and reinforce trust in the project's fund security.
